Soundtrack to Love

“The Boat That Rocked” retitled “Pirate Radio” in North America is film starring Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Bill Nighy, Nick Frost, Rhys Darby, Kenneth Branagh, and Jack Davenport and Emma Thompson, released in 2009. This film is a mildly dramatic period comedy about an unlikely and diverse collection of individuals broadcasting their radio station to the U.K. from a ship anchored in the North Sea, all the while having the British Government trying to shut them down and unsuccessful at doing so.

Here are all those 1960’s groovy gravy sound waves you’ve been missing. Both up-beat, sentimental, you can relax or kick off your party with this in your stereo. This is the time machine you’ve been looking for in a two-disc set. Could you ask for more? Well yes you could but let’s not push it. Rock n Roll, soft rock, love songs, party songs, something for everyone. This is your crash course in music history so consider this part of your musical education. These are the musicians who started in all, a revolutionary revelation you can hold in your hands and pour into your ears. Recommended for your music collection as a must-have.
